The Coffee table comes with a power adapter. We've guided the cord down the back of one of the legs to create a seamless finish and will recommend product to conceal the cord even more. The coffee table uses a relatively small amount of power, but an internal battery wouldn't last very long and would increase costs, so we made the decision to go with a power cord.
